Blox Fruits Second Sea

Getting to the Second Sea (Sea 2) is the biggest jump in Blox Fruits map. It introduces new game mechanics like Fruit Trading, Race V2/V3, Factory Raids, and Raid Chips.

If you just hit Level 700 and feel lost, this guide covers what you actually need to focus on, what to ignore, and how to avoid wasting time.

Blox Fruits Second Sea Priority Checklist

When you land at the Kingdom of Rose, do these four things in order:

  1. Set your Home at the Cafe: The Cafe is the main hub of the Second Sea. It contains Fruit Traders, Inventory Management, Race Rerolls (Tort NPC), and Quest Givers.
  2. Switch to Buddha Fruit (If Possible): Grinding in the Second Sea without Buddha takes twice as long. If you can trade for or roll a Buddha Fruit, eat it immediately.
  3. Upgrade your Fighting Style: Buy Fishman Karate (if you don't have it) and start leveling it up to get Sharkman Karate as soon as possible.
  4. Get the Swan Glasses: Defeat Don Swan inside the Mansion to get the best all-around accessory in the Second Sea.

What's Actually Worth Doing in Second Sea?

Many players waste hours doing tasks that don't help them progress. Here is what is actually worth your time:

Essential Progression (Do These!)

  • Race V2 & Race V3:
    • Race V2: Talk to the Alchemist at Green Zone (Level 850+) and collect 3 flowers. Cost: $500,000. Gives huge passive buffs (like Shark water immunity or Rabbit extra speed).
    • Race V3: Complete Arowe's quest at the Sunflower field. Cost: $2,000,000. Unlocks powerful active abilities.
  • Unlock Sharkman Karate: Get Fishman Karate to 400 Mastery, defeat the Tide Keeper at Forgotten Island for the Water Key, and buy Sharkman Karate. It is the fastest M1 grinding style in the game.
  • Get Rengoku (Sword): Defeat the Awakened Ice Admiral at Ice Castle for the Hidden Key. It is the easiest S-Tier sword to obtain in the Second Sea.

Events & Extra Features (Do When Available)

  • Factory Raid: Happens every 1 hour and 30 minutes. Dealing the highest damage guarantees a free Blox Fruit.
  • Fruit Trading: Located inside the Cafe. Always check values before trading to avoid bad trades.
  • Law / Order Raid: Costs $1,000 Fragments per microchip. Great for farming Fragments and getting the Koko Sword or Zebra Cap.

What to Skip / Ignore (Don't Waste Time Here)

  • Extensive PvP / Bounty Hunting: Players in the Second Sea are rarely max level. Spending hours fighting other players slows down your leveling process significantly.
  • Over-Farming Bosses without Quests: Unless you are farming Don Swan for Swan Glasses or Tide Keeper for the Water Key, stick to normal quest grinding to reach Level 1500 faster.

How to Get to Third Sea in Blox Fruits

To unlock the Third Sea, reach Level 1500 and complete the Colosseum questline:

  1. Complete Bartilo's Quest: Talk to Bartilo at the Cafe (Kingdom of Rose), defeat 50 Swan Pirates, kill Jeremy, and solve the Colosseum plate puzzle to free the prisoners.
  2. Defeat Don Swan: Go to the Mansion, offer Trevor a $1,000,000+ Fruit, and defeat Don Swan inside.
  3. Talk to King Red Head: Go to the Colosseum basement, talk to King Red Head, and defeat the rip_indra boss in the secret arena.
  4. Travel to Third Sea: Talk to Mr. Captain at the Green Zone docks to sail to the Third Sea!

4 Common Second Sea Mistakes (And How to Avoid Them)

Mistake 1: Putting Points into Everything (Bad Stat Build)

The Problem: Splitting stats evenly between Melee, Defense, Sword, Gun, and Blox Fruit makes your character weak at everything.

The Fix:

  • If using Buddha: Put 60% of stats in Melee (Energy + Damage) and 40% in Defense (HP). Put 0 points in Fruit or Sword early on.
  • If using Elemental Fruit (Magma/Ice/Dough): Split points evenly between Blox Fruit, Melee, and Defense.

Mistake 2: Ignoring Fragments

The Problem: Fragments are the main currency in the Second Sea used for Race Rerolls, Fruit Awakening, and buying V2 Fighting Styles.

The Fix: Do Fruit Raids at the Hot and Cold island as soon as you hit Level 1100 to start accumulating Fragments.

Mistake 3: Losing Rare Items on Death

The Problem: Carrying rare keys (like the Water Key or Hidden Key) or rare fruits in your hands when getting killed by players/bosses causes you to lose them permanently.

The Fix: Store or use rare keys immediately upon obtaining them. Never walk around holding items in PvP-enabled zones.

Mistake 4: Not Utilizing Safe Spots for Bosses

The Problem: Trying to fight Second Sea bosses head-on without end-game gear leads to constant deaths.

The Fix: Most Second Sea bosses (like Don Swan and Awakened Ice Admiral) can be hit through walls or door frames using Buddha's extended melee reach without taking damage.
