Blox Fruits Third Sea
Reaching the Third Sea (Sea 3) means you have unlocked the endgame of Blox Fruits (Levels 1500 to 2550+). This
area is completely different from the earlier seas - it revolves around high-stakes PvP, complex raids, ocean
exploration, and unlocking god-like powers like Race V4.
If you just arrived at Port Town and feel overwhelmed by the difficulty spike, this guide breaks down what to
prioritize, how to handle endgame mechanics, and how to avoid wasting time.
Endgame Content: What's Actually Worth Doing?
The Third Sea has endless activities, but some are far more important for your overall strength than others:
Essential Endgame Progression (Must-Do!)
- Race V4 Awakening: This is the single biggest power upgrade in the game. It grants a god-mode
transformation with unique passives (like infinite flight, domain damage, or full life-steal).
- Requirements: Defeat Dough King to get the Mirror Fractal, find the Blue Gear on Mirage Island during a Full Moon, and complete the Trial at the Temple of Time.
- Unlock Cursed Dual Katana (CDK): The #1 S-Tier sword in the game. You must reach 350 Mastery on both Tushita and Yama, then complete the Cursed Dual Katana quest at the Haunted Castle.
- Farm Mirage Island & Full Moon Events: Mirage Island randomly spawns in deep waters. It is required for the Fractured Lens puzzle and buying high-tier materials/fruits.
Sea Events & Crafting (Do With a Team)
- Leviathan Raids & Tiki Outpost: Sail into Danger Level 6 waters with a group of 5+ players to hunt the Leviathan. Defeating it yields Leviathan Hearts and scales used for crafting Sanguine Art, the Leviathan Shield, and Beast Hunter boats.
- Terrorships & Ghost Ships: High-tier ocean encounters in Danger Level 4-6 that drop rare materials, fragments, and accessory upgrades.
Things to Skip / Delay (Don't Rush These)
- Pointless Random PvP: Fighting max-level players at Port Town before you have Race V4, Godhuman, or CDK will result in constant deaths and lost Bounty. Focus on your build first.
- Soloing Sea Events in Low Danger Zones: Sailing alone in Danger Level 5-6 without a proper sea-event build (like Buddha, Magma, or Shark Anchor) is a quick way to lose your boat and progress.
4 Major Third Sea Mistakes (And How to Avoid Them)
Mistake 1: Trying to Do Race V4 Alone
The Problem: Race V4 trials require 3 players of different races to stand at the Temple of Time during a Full Moon simultaneously. Trying to do this solo or with random public server players usually results in betrayals.
The Fix: Join Discord groups or play with friends to coordinate trial turns so everyone gets their gear and awakenings safely.
Mistake 2: Ignoring Elite Hunter Quests
The Problem: Skipping the Elite Hunter NPC at Castle on the Sea.
The Fix: Defeating 30 Elite Hunters is a strict requirement to unlock the Yama sword. Start doing these quests every time an Elite Boss spawns while leveling up!
Mistake 3: Carrying God's Chalice or Sweet Chalice into Open PvP
The Problem: Holding a God's Chalice (for Rip Indra) or Sweet Chalice (for Dough King) makes you a prime target. If you die to a player or sea monster, the Chalice vanishes permanently.
The Fix: Never hold a Chalice out in the open. Have your team guard you, or activate the pedestals/NPC requirements immediately after obtaining it.
Mistake 4: Using the Wrong Fruit for Bosses vs. PvP
The Problem: Using PvP-heavy fruits like Dough or Portal for grinding high-level Third Sea mobs and Sea Events.
The Fix: Use Awakened Magma or Buddha for Sea Events and boss farming, then switch to Dough, Portal, or Ice when you are ready for dedicated Bounty Hunting.
